APPEAL FOR INFORMATION:

Dead rabbit found in a cage at Ang Mo Kio Ave 6

On 14 January 2015 at about 11pm, a dead rabbit was found in a cage left on the 11th floor lift lobby of Block 123 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6.

The SPCA is appealing for any witnesses or information that may help identify the person(s) responsible for this, as the rabbit was found to be in poor physical condition.

SPCA is urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call its 24-hour hotline on 62875355 (ext.9) or e-mail: inspector@spca.org.sg.

(Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.)

* Under the Animals and Birds Act (pending revision), anyone who is found guilty of such an offence, including abandonment of any animal, can be imprisoned for up to 12 months, fined up to S$10,000, or both.
