Doby's Skin Problem

Doby is one of our Klang rescues who was initially staying in Lotus Life, Bentong, in 2009. When Meiji visited the place, she found that Doby was kept in a cage and did not look good at all.

So Meiji brought Doby back to her sanctuary in Raub and since then, Doby has been with Meiji and the 127 other dogs.

Doby has a very stubborn skin problem and even after repeated visits to our panel vet, the skin problem persisted. It isn't life-threatening, though.

Meiji brought Doby to the vet in UPM and the vet suspects Doby has an autoimmune skin disease called Dermatuplytosis and it is a fungal infection. Doby has been given some medication for this.

Doby's medical treatment is fully sponsored from our funds.
