FAMILY CHASES TWO CHICKENS THROUGH WOODS TO SAVE THEM

When a young Police Explorer spotted two chickens who had been dumped on a road in Snoqualmie Point Park in Washington state, he immediately phoned his parents for help. The family then began attempts to round up the very frosty chickens who clearly wouldn’t have survived the cold night without intervention. After 15 minutes of zigging and zagging through a wooded area, the chickens were safely in hand. Both are reported to be doing just fine.

Some say that what we chose to protect is what defines us. We tend to agree.
