Eugene arrived at the Soi Dog shelter, Phuket, Thailand in November 2013. It was feared that he had been dumped as no one could find his owner. He had cataracts on both eyes, an injury to his hind legs and he was depressed and frightened.

After months of hard work by the vets, he made a great recovery. Despite his limited vision he loved his walks with the volunteers. He came to recognize their voices and could be found waiting excitedly at the gate for his turn.

In May 2014 he left for his forever home with Diana in the USA who drove miles and miles to collect him from the airport. Soi Dog would like to thank you Diana for giving Eugene another chance.

Here he is today enjoying his new life.

Every week, Soi Dog sends cats and dogs to adopters around the world. The process is straightforward and we organize everything for you.
