A THUNDEROUS ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who was a part of our very first ‘Wipe Out Animal Cruelty’ ACRES Charity Carwash! It was an awesome day filled with beautiful (and clean) rides; but more importantly, a very heartening one to see that so many out there, coming from all walks of life, stood together wanting to wipe out animal cruelty!

We are greatly thankful and are looking forward to next year, where we, together with our animal conscious community (You!), will work together to create a better world for our animal friends, step by step!

The day could not have been made possible without our lovely volunteers who braved the rain and heat tirelessly just so our animal friends have a voice; the different automobile communities that spent the Sunday to come down to support the cause; Minister of Manpower Tan Chuan-Jin & Minister of State Desmond Lee for showing their support by washing cars too; our event sponsor, The Grandstand for believing in us, our ACRES staff who organised this meaningful event, and lastly, all those who graced the event in one way or another just to be part of this movement! #wipeoutanimalcruelty #fortheanimals #carwash #forACRES #oneSingapore #gotongroyong

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
