Yellow seems to be in fashion these days, so for the past few weeks, I have been working behind-the-scenes getting our very own LIMITED EDITION Yellow Tshirt! And what better time to unveil it than in conjunction with our upcoming Merdeka (Independence) celebrations.
Since we are not sure how well-received this tshirt would be, we're taking pre-orders. The tshirt is estimated to be priced at RM25 (subject to confirmation when we put in the order) and the sizes available would be our usual sizes:
Ladies 34, 36, 38, 40, 42 (V-necked - NEW! More feminine and flattering!)
Sports 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46 (classic round-necked).
And since this is by special order, we shall make available for order, the extra-large sizes 48 and 50, and the child sizes 24, 28 and 32 (only round-necked).
To determine your size, measure your chest all-around in inches and add 4 inches for a good fit.
The material is our trademark fully-combed cotton material.
For postal orders, the Poslaju charges are as follows: 1-2 pieces: RM6 3-4 pieces: RM9 5-6 pieces: RM12 7-8 pieces: RM15 9-10 pieces: RM18
The design is the brainchild of Kean-Joo (thank you, bro) and the final printable version is done by Mooi Chee Onn, the designer of our classic Gold (first) tshirt. Thank you so much, Kean-Joo and Chee Onn, for helping.
But here's the catch, before we can roll it out, I need a minimum order of 300 pieces, otherwise the supplier will not be able to dye a batch of yellow tshirts for us. So, for those of you who want to support us, and to support the colour yellow, we'd really appreciate if you could ask your friends and family and collect as many orders as you can.
We'll go to print once we hit 150. If we cannot hit that number, we might not go ahead. So, please don't pay first. Just help us collect orders.
No promises if we can get it out in time for 31st August, because this totally depends on how fast we can hit at least 150 orders. If it's not in time for Merdeka, it doesn't matter, right? I have a feeling yellow is going to be still in fashion....for some time. Let's hope we can hit 300 orders real soon. Need your support, please! And here is the mock-up.....
The Ladies' version is V-necked with very short sleeves (shorter than the mock-up above)
The Sports version is round-necked
Please support us.
This is our message:
And of course, besides speaking up, we also DO the work. To date, we have helped a total of 1175 animals in spay-neuter, medical treatment and e-rehoming - all thanks to your support in cash, kind and tshirts!
Many thanks to everyone who has helped me in the design and concept of this limited edition tshirt, and thanks in advance to everyone for your support!
Interestingly, Elie Wiesel and Albert Einstein are both vegetarians and proponents of Animal Rights. Wise people care for the animals, too, because they see us all as equals. Please write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com to place your orders. Payment later - we trust you will pay.Championing animal welfare and animal rights is one of the hardest form of social work because we depend on humans for support. Humans will support underprivileged humans, but to get them to support animals...now, that is a different ball game altogether. That is why we need your support, because we know YOU do not discriminate.Thank you!
