Ruth Chow has written to me about the experimental drug, RetroMad1 being used for treatment of the parvo virus in puppies. I thought this drug was for FIV and FeLV in cats.

Has anyone used it successfully on dogs and puppies with parvo?

If you have, please could you write to me?

I have been hearing success stories (and also otherwise) from various people so far.

I've informed Winnie Low about the possibility of using this drug. She will decide for Brownie as she is the rescuer and we are here to provide support in whatever ways we can.

I have also texted Dr Benny Tan, the vet who is doing the experimental trials, to ask for advice and help.

If you can help with information, please write to me at chankahyein@gmail.com

Meanwhile, please pray for Brownie. We are racing against time.

Updates at 7am - Winnie says she wants to try the RetroMad1. If anyone of you can help get the drug from Dr Tan's clinic in Wawasan, Puchong, please contact me at chankahyein@gmail.com. We seek your help as time is running out. Thank you!

Updates at 9.30am - Punitha is going to get the drug from Dr Tan's clinic and pass it to Winnie.

Please pray that Brownie will pull through.

We need spiritual help.

Updates at 12.15pm - Punitha has passed the drug to Winnie. I have spoken with Dr Tan and he has advised on the correct dosage for Brownie. The drug is to be administered 10 minutes after an anti-vomiting drug.

We want to thank Ruth Chow for alerting us to this drug as an alternative treatment for Brownie.
