Mockingjay is a stray pup who arrived at our shelter after trying to get at leftover chicken bones that had been thrown on an untended camp fire. She is only 8 weeks old and sustained severe burns to her face and legs.

Mockingjay was in a great deal of pain and shock when she arrived. She was depressed and scared and had no interest in eating. Thanks to the monthly donations of Soi Dog supporters, Dr. Eugene was able to treat her burns, in addition to providing her with the pain relief she needed. Before long, Mockingjay�s appetite returned and we are hopeful she will make a full recovery.

Despite such a terrible ordeal so early in life, this little girl is one of the lucky ones. It is thanks to some special Soi Dog supporters that she got the emergency help she needed and a second chance at life.
