MDDB is happy to report that Goldie is doing well in spite of the nightmare THE WITCH had put her through. Goldie had gone through energy healing and acupuncture and this has helped her a great deal. She has also put on weight and is no longer frightened. We are somewhat skeptical about animal communication but had gotten someone to ‘communicate’ with Goldie. According to this person, Goldie ‘told’ her that she had very little to eat and had been without water many times during her several months of ordeal when away from her current fosterer Rena. We are stumped as to why someone would want to adopt a blind and brain damaged puppy only to discard her soon after. Why didn’t they return her to us? We were also told by a third party that those who had adopted Goldie claimed she could not walk and did not have proper bowel control. They had also said that Goldie had various health issues. These allegations are all not true. We took Goldie to the vet recently for a check-up and she is fine. Coming back to our earlier question, why do these people adopt dogs and puppies that have problems if they cannot cope with them? Someone close to them told us that since they belonged to a religious group, it was done to earn merits after their lives on earth are over. Meaning if you take care of animals which had a difficult life or had undergone suffering due to their karma, you will receive heavenly cookie points. So, since Goldie had been forsaken and dumped, does this mean that the cookie points they had earned for other good deeds would be deducted?
Anyway, Goldie is happy – she should be – because she escaped death by the skin of her teeth. No thanks to those who profess to being religious but did not give a second thought when ordering the termination of poor Goldie’s life.
