Here�s a beautiful story to brighten up your day! With the Asian Beach Games taking place on the island of Phuket, Thailand, where Soi Dog is located, we recently had to temporarily house a pack of 13 stray dogs from one of the beaches for their own safety and comfort during the games.

These dogs normally live happy, free lives on the beaches of Phuket (and are already spayed and neutered), but with their territory being used for sporting events and hosting large crowds of spectators, the dogs were moved to our shelter until the end of the games.

A staff member from the Centara Grand Beach Resort normally feeds and cares for these particular beach dogs every day. While they were at our shelter, he missed them so much that he drove a 3 hour round trip journey just to see them.

The dogs� reaction when he arrived was a joy to see and you may get some idea of it from the photo of some of them below.

It was a wonderful thing to see how much this man loves these dogs and how they adore him in return. We thank him for caring for them and for the kind donation he made while at our shelter.

Soi Dog Foundation
