WE NEED FUNDS TO PURCHASE WINTER SHELTERS FOR “EVICTED” CATS

Most of you know by now that we try not to ask for help very often, but today we do need you. We have two feral cat colonies who are being “evicted” from their territories (a low-income housing complex and an industrial park) In each, management has decided the cats must ‘go away’. Arrangements are being made to set up feeding stations and winter shelters on an adjoining property. And naturally we’ll see to it that any intact cats will be spayed/neutered.

The temperatures here are already below freezing at night and it will snow any day now. We’ve scouted out some used sheds and can fill those with individual straw-filled cat houses. The sheds are very important because otherwise the shelters get submerged every time it snows and the cats are far more vulnerable in those.

In total, we need to raise about $4,400. Would any of you be able to help us today?
