I am a 3 year old girl; my name is Papu. I am a stray dog from the island of Phuket in Thailand and I would like to tell you my story.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter having been hit by a car. There are many kind humans in my community who feed me every day, and one of them found me. I had horrific wounds on both of my back legs and the pain was agonising. He ran to call Soi Dog.

Since being treated by the vets here, I am making steady progress day by day. Dr. Jennifer changes my dressings daily and the wounds are slowly healing. I am no longer in pain but none of this would be possible without people like you.

Soi Dog supporters have funded my care and put an end to my suffering, but as you read this, other dogs, just like me, continue to endure pain and sickness.
