Dear Dr Chan,

I’ve got your email from a friendand I believe she has mentioned to you earlier about the Husky that has skin problem.
We found her somewhere in beginning of August and she barely had any fur on her body. We brought her to the vet and she was diagnosed with having demodex. After 9-10 weeks of treatment, she seems to be fully recovered.
Fyi, my aunt was fostering it and our plan was to put her up for adoption as soon as she is fully recovered. In the beginning of Oct, my aunt has been informed to move out from her house and she had to move to her current place where it doesn’t allow pets. We started looking for adopter and twice after I brought her to visit the adopters, she fell sick again.
We brought her back to the vet and it is the same problem, demodex again. The vet told us it could be her low immunity or stress that’s causing the problem. My aunt has moved to the new place during 1st Nov and I have no place to keep her. I can’t just leave her to anyone that may not know how to take care of her problem, so I put her on board…
I am now paying for her medical bill but I am not sure how long this could last. Her boarding fee and her medical bill is quite a burden to me… ):
I need to look for someone to foster her or to adopt her, but I am not willing to hand her to just anyone. I want to make sure that she goes to the right hand even if it’s gonna take a longer time.
Please help.
Thank you.
Regards,
Yenny
