A homeless man, John Patrick Byrne, jumped into the river to save his pet rabbit after a teenager snatched his rabbit and flung the rabbit into the River Liffey, one of the most horrible rivers in Ireland. The rabbit was saved and the teenager will be charged in court for cruelty. Byrne is honoured as a hero by the Animal Rights Action Network.
