My owners neglected me for years and when they no longer wanted me, they dumped me.

My name is Highland, I am 8 years old and due to years of neglect, I have lost many of my teeth. I am also blind.

I am slowly getting over the terror of my ordeal – abandoned all alone and unable to see my surroundings. I was so lucky a kind lady found me and brought me to Soi Dog.

Thanks to Soi Dog supporters, the shelter was able to take me in and care for me, but there are so many more still in need of help.

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
