I am Josie, a 4 year old boy who arrived at the Soi Dog shelter with my right eye popping out of my head. I can no longer remember what caused this but it was too late to save the eye and Dr. Su had to remove it immediately.

Can you please help dogs like me? Please donate so that we can continue to be rescued!

As well as my eye problems, I was suffering from skin problems and had very overgrown toenails. I was in a terrible state.

Thanks to a special group of Soi Dog supporters, I have been started on treatment now and I am so much better than when I arrived. I am also very cooperative with the vets; I understand they are trying to help me.

Sadly though, I am just one of thousands of dogs on the streets of Phuket, Thailand. Many of these animals have lived like this their whole life but when they become sick or injured, having no owner to care for them means things can get very serious, very quickly.
