Dear Dr. Chan,

Hi there! I’ve been independently rescuing strays/newborns for a few years now and recently learned about My Animal Care from my regular veterinary clinic.
I’m writing in to ask for your kind consideration for a subsidy for my latest rescue – a family of four kittens (all male) whom I rescued from the back alley of where I live.
I’ve also attempted to trap their mom and bring her for neutering, but up until today, I’ve not been able to gain her trust enough for me carry her. But her kittens are more trusting and when they were first rescued, they were down with cold, diarrhea and one of them (the ginger kitty) had a really bad eye infection.
They have been with me for about six months now and they have been vaccinated (2 jabs) and recently neutered. With the help of the vet, I’ve attached with this email before and after pictures, as well as the receipt for their neutering procedure.
I’m determined to find homes for these kittens, a pet finder profile was created back in August 2014 for potential adopters. There’s a screen shot as proof attached.
I’m not extremely active in the field / affiliated with independent rescue homes/independent rescuers, but I’ve done quite a bit of rescue, rehabilitate and re-home on my own in the past, and I’ve found it very challenging to re-home strays (especially local domesticate cats/kittens), those who I’ve not been able to re-home still remains under my care. I am currently taking care of 8 cats, 4 kittens (latest rescue) and a 1 year old puppy.
Here are some of my past rescues:
4. Puppies (status – some deceased due to fever, some re-homed) -https://www.facebook.com/justina.yong/media_set?set=a.10154359718750405.1073741832.780500404&type=3
6. Scruffy, rescued puppy, temporarily fostered by another fosterer -https://www.facebook.com/justina.yong/media_set?set=a.10154459248955405.1073741834.780500404&type=3
I hope the above would give you the confidence that I am indeed true with my intentions to help street animals that I’ve crossed path with.
Should you require further details, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Justina
