Landmark Resolution: San Francisco Recognizes The Rights Of Whales And Dolphins

In the U.S., San Francisco declares that “every whale and dolphin has the right to be free from a life in captivity, to remain unrestricted in their natural environment”, in a landmark ruling announced earlier this week. This resolution is the very first of its kind in the US.

(In the local context, SPCA and ACRES have, in this connection, urged Resorts World Sentosa to release its remaining wild-caught dolphins, following the dolphin deaths linked to its Marine Life Park attraction.)
