I am a little boy, just 4 months of age. My name is Unique but sadly, my story is not.

I am just one of thousands of stray dogs here, but in my case, I have been luckier than most.

I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter after being found by Animal Rescue Officer Khun Jaroon. He could see that my fur was falling out all over my body and I was covered in crusty sores. I was scratching myself non-stop.

Dr. Eed tells me I have something called demodectic mange and I am also a little bit anaemic. I have a long journey to recovery ahead of me but thanks to some special Soi Dog supporters, that journey has started.

Their monthly donations are used to fund the medical treatment of dogs like me that have nobody else to turn to. Dr. Eed says these supporters are called the Emergency Response Team.
