A big woof woof from Caramel =)

Dr Goh needs to conduct a weekly blood test / run a profile on Mel to make sure all the medication works well on her. She is currently anemic and the high WBC (white blood cells) counts indicate that she is still fighting for her on-going infection. She is currently on iron supplements to help her anemic conditions. And she has been losing weight as well. But no worries, she is eating well as usual. 

Her left hind leg is still badly infected... But the wound is getting cleaner. Thanks to Dr Goh who cleans her wound religiously daily. And Mel is such a tough cookie because to clean off the flaky part of the wound is extremely painful. 

The right hind leg looks so much better now. 

Do you see the blurry tail? She was wagging her tail happily whenever she sees us / Dr Goh. 

And the good news is, Dr Goh mentioned that we can keep her wiggy-waggy tail cos the skin that attaching to the tail and body is healing well.

Oh Mel, we can't wait to see you running to us and wagging your tail happily in the future.

The right front paw is still badly infected as the plastic e-collar couldn't stop her from licking her paw.

We are now sourcing for a better and more comfortable e-collar (soft cone, inflatable collar etc) for her as she needs be on the collar for the next 8~10 months. Please PM us or leave us a comment if you come across any better alternative to her current plastic e-colllar =)
