THE LITTLE GIRL WITH THE MOST TRAUMATIC START IN LIFE�

This is the story of Nirvana, who is only about 4 months of age. She is a stray dog of Phuket, Thailand � sadly, she is one of thousands.

Nirvana did not have a good start in life. She arrived at the Soi Dog shelter with her fur falling out in clumps and constantly itching and scratching, thanks to horrendous skin conditions.

Misery was etched on her face.

Thanks to a special group of Soi Dog supporters, Nirvana is now well on the road to recovery. Their monthly donations have funded her care and medical treatment and ensured this little girl was given a second chance at life.

We call this group of supporters our Emergency Response Team.

Nirvana is one of the lucky ones but as you read this, there are many more that continue to suffer. Please think of the sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals whose stories you haven�t read, whose photos remain unseen.

Without urgent medical attention, many of these animals simply won�t make it.
