HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

A year ago we trapped this cat called Mama. She and her two kittens were living on the grounds of a meat market and taking food from the dumpster. We got an alarmed call by a nearby shop owner who said there was a plan to poison the cats.

Mama and her kittens were all trapped and whisked away to their fur-ever home with volunteer Karen F who runs the feral cat barn sanctuary for Harmony Fund. Only problem was, that the cats weren’t feral. So, yes, you guessed it. This photo was taken of Mama snuggled up in Karen’s bed this morning! And just out of sight is her kitten Seppy who resisted our traps for weeks.

It’s such a beautiful thing to know that this little cat family and so many more won’t be fending for themselves when the sting of winter arrives.
