The speeding car came out of nowhere. I am only a little boy of 4 months; I didn�t stand a chance. It was my first life lesson as a stray dog of Thailand and I will never forget the pain.

My name is Prowler and I was brought to Soi Dog with a severely injured leg as a result of that accident. It was a man called Khun Yut who found me. He told me he was an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog and that he was going to take me somewhere safe.

At the shelter, I was examined by Dr. Jennifer, who told me my leg was so badly damaged it couldn�t be saved. She told me not to worry because she would make sure I was asleep and would feel no pain during the surgery. She was right.

Now that I am slowly recovering, I know that one day I will be able to walk and run around like normal dogs. My recovery is only possible because of the Soi Dog supporters who donate monthly for my care. Without them, I would never have made it.

As you read this, there are many other stray dogs and cats out there that desperately need someone to help them too. They are sick or injured and all alone.
