The orang-utan (P. pygmaeus) is classified as totally protected under Part 1 of Schedule 1, Section 25 (1) of Sabahs Wildlife Conservation Enactment 1997, and is listed as endangered in the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.

The North Ulu Segama (NUS) forest is home to 300 orang-utans, making it a high density habitat. Their numbers can grow, but they need your help. Please donate now: http://goo.gl/hkIZft
