It started out a day like any other. As a stray dog on the streets of Thailand, I needed to find some food. I got excited when I spied some across the street and that�s when I made a mistake.

Excitedly running out, I didn�t even see the car before it slammed into me and flung me to the side of the road.

I am a two year old boy named Arizona and I lost one of my legs that day.

There is a special group of Soi Dog supporters who are funding my care and medical treatment now. Thanks to them, I am expected to make a good recovery. These supporters are called the Emergency Response Team.

The vets say I will soon get used to only have three legs and will be walking and running just as well as the other dogs. Despite all I have been through, I know I am one of the lucky ones.

As you read this, there are desperately sick or injured homeless dogs and cats that need rescuing. They have nobody to turn to and without urgent medical attention, many won�t make it.

It need not be like this.
