Q: Tell us a little about yourself.
A: Im 18 in November, Im getting my degree in Psychology. I have 3 cats at home; Dutchess, Maxine and Sam. Dutchess is the oldestwe adopted her from the SPCA on New Years Eve 2010. Maxine walked up to our gate in 2012 and demanded to be taken in, and Sam was picked up off a roadside in 2013.
Q: What made you volunteer with the SPCA?
A: I started my last semester break about two months ago, when I realized that I had too much time on my hands and nothing to fill it with. So I thought I might as well go spend time with furries. I go to the SPCA as a stress relieversnuggling with Zoey is way beter than a Panadol!
Q: Who is your favorite animal at the SPCA, and why?
Youre making me do this?! Whyyy?? Why?? I refuse to play favorites!! No, but seriouslyI cant chooseZoey is so cuddle-able but Cookie is so hyper! And Cherrys an angel and always comes around for a scratchand dont get me started on the cats!
Q: Is there anything else you would like to add?
Every week, I look forward to the time I get to spend at the SPCAIts the highlight of my week. No matter how long I have to wait for the bus, or how crappy my week ended up being up to that moment; going to the SPCA makes everything better!
Big hugs to you, Dhanya!
