Here’s something to kickstart your weekend – a sneak peek into the secret life of a very shy animal!
We stumbled upon 3 Banded leaf monkeys while we were following a troop of Long-tailed macaques. Although they are globally listed as vulnerable, they are one of the rarest mammals in Singapore where they were first described in 1838. Once roaming various forests on the island, this elusive animal is now critically endangered and only found in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve.
