Last week, the ACRES Macaque Team successfully herded a troop of macaques out of a condominium within 15 minutes!

Residents and security guards witnessed the process for the first time. The team quickly reacted with accordance to the macaques facial expressions and body language, while still keeping a respectable distance between the macaques. The macaques have been entering the condo premises due to availability of food.

Its been a week since the herding and residents have given positive feed backs. Even though there are sightings, residents and security guards are better equip with the knowledge on how to co-exist. This is an example of how an effective and alternative approach, along with positive energy of working together can lead to co-existence with our native wildlife.
