How many of you still remember Mia, the young female macaque that we rescued, rehabilitated and successfully released back into the wild last year?

1 year later, we paid her a visit. Have a look at the pictures to see how beautiful she has grown! She is also using all 4 limbs now! This is the very same macaque who fractured her pelvis and had to go through 6 weeks of intensive rehabilitation.

Does she recognize us when we visited her?

Here’s what Sabrina from the Macaque Team has to say:

” She does but she pretends not to. She stayed very close to her family; which is good. It means she is wild and that’s how it’s suppose to be! “
