AN ANGEL FOR SARAJEVO’S STRAYS

Last night we sent aid to Arijana Ari Arifovic, a wonderful woman who devotes herself to stray animals in Sarajevo. Her rescue work is quite extraordinary and we are deeply moved by the way she has defended dogs who are abandoned, kicked, chased and hit by cars. Many of the dogs Arijana seeks to help are now in boarding centers where they await adoptive homes. Others are still on the street, but receiving her care.
