Love is Ageless, and our Executive Director Corinne Fong shares with readers of “pets” magazine (in the current, Aug/Sep 2014 issue) how owners of SENIOR PETS can better ensure they are given the best care possible.

Older companion animals may also better suit working adults and people who are retired or semi-retired. First-time pet owners who may have little or no experience with puppies/kittens/much younger animals may also be better off with a mature companion animal. (Senior animals are generally aged 7 years or older/wiser.)

Last but not least, whilst many potential adopters are concerned that older animals tend to have more serious health worries, the fact remains that animals of ANY age can become ill!

If you are keen to adopt a more senior animal from SPCA’s shelter, do speak to our shelter officers and/or come by SPCA’s online adoption gallery at this link, to find out more: http://www.spca.org.sg/services.asp?cat=0&view=Senior&senior=Y
