My name is George – I was stolen from the streets of northern Thailand due to the illegal dog meat trade…. PLEASE ADOPT ME.

Email cristy@soidog.org to ADOPT me.

Taken away from my family and crushed into a cage with many other dogs and driven away on a truck to cross the border. I could not understand why I was in this cage and why these people were doing this to me.

I am bigger than a normal sized dog and it hurt being in the metal cage with other dogs. Where were these people taking me? I could hear the younger dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border – I could not help them.

I awoke to the rattling of cages and the truck stopping abruptly. All the cages were taken off and we were released and put into a big truck and taken to a shelter in Buriram. I now live in a compound with 100s of dogs.

I am a lovely friendly boy of about 3 years old and really want a home of my own. Some days are good and some days are bad – I have had enough of living in this shelter with over 300 dogs in my run and am looking for a family to call my own.

Soi Dog want to help me find a forever home. I have heard great things about the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe and am not fussy – I will like to live in any one of these places. My only request is that it is with a family who loves me.

Please email cristy@soidog.org to adopt.

Can you adopt George? Every week, Soi Dog sends cats and dogs to adopters around the world including North America, Canada, UK and Europe. Our rescued animals urgently need homes and make excellent pets.
