MOVING AND NOT BRINGING YOUR PET WITH YOU?

The number one reason people surrender a pet is: “We’re moving and our new place won’t accept pets.” And sadly, most of the time the pet guardians start searching for a place to ‘give up’ their pet just a day or two before they’re leaving.

You wouldn’t do this to a child, so please don’t take it lightly when you leave your animals in a situation of homelessness. Do you really need the condo with a perfect view or could you make do with an equally beautiful view – the one of your cat purring thankfully on the couch.

All it takes is a little research and patience to find a rental with a welcoming pet policy.
