On 23 Aug 2014 (Saturday), students and staff of Nanyang Junior College held their Wild Run with SPCA, naming SPCA as its beneficiary of about S$2,500 raised from donations.
The Wild Run also saw our very own mixed-breed Ida (and our Executive Director Corinnes Cocker Spaniel, Dewey) join in the festivities. A few other animals were brought along as well, to facilitate their interaction with the students.
Kudos to the school for implementing a meaningful collaborative project, and to the organising committee (comprising several teachers and first-year students) for making this happen! (The schools Service Learning stint with SPCA is up next!)
