It was about Winnie Low and her father, who feeds the stray dogs at his workplace in North Port, appealing for rescuers to help capture the dogs to be spayed-neutered.
Since no one volunteered, Winnie and her father decided to try to do it themselves.
So, Winnie and her mum came over yesterday to borrow two of our large foldable cages.
This morning, Winnie texted me to say they managed to catch the mother-dog and her pup.
Here's her short email:
Hello there. Busy day with the dogs today. The 2 are adapting well. But my dogs are rather jealous. After giving both mom & son food. Shortly after, the mom vomited out for the son to eat again. This dog is really fantastic.
Winnie will bring both dogs for spay-neuter at our panel vet soon.
Kudos to two new rescuers in the making! This is Winnie's first time ever.
Sometimes we will never know what we can do...until we try.
