DON’T HATE ME BECAUSE YOU THINK I’M UGLY

I’M A MOM AND I WANT TO BE FREE!

“People say I’m ugly.

They look at me with hate.

I do not understand this.

With my baths, I’m never late.

I love my babies dearly

And nurse them everyday

When they’re six months old

They’ll be ready to fly and play

Yesterday was bad.

I accidentally flew into a home

The people screamed and shouted

I was frightened and alone

They tried to bash me with a broom

The children watched them too

I may not be a perfect mom

But this I would not do….”
