Not every rescue story have a happy ending. This is the heart-breaking story that led to the death of 2 lives – mother and her unborn child.

Wildlife road kills happen everyday, but may this story remind you that macaques – who are highly misunderstood – are sentient beings. They have the capability to feel pain and mourn over the loss of their family member. Remember how you would hold your mother’s hand so tightly before you cross the road? Imagine what would have gone through this victim’s mind.
