Ms Chong is a student and a new applicant. She has rescued five cats and we have pledged to help her with our neutering subsidy as per policy.
We have subsidised RM100 for the spaying of Jelly, the first cat.

Hello Dr Chan,
Good day! I am Chong Yan Chee, a resident of TTDI. I have been notified of this subsidy by Mr Koo.
Earlier this year, I have rescued 5 stray kittens around my housing area after their mother (which is also a stray) went missing after a month of giving birth to them.
I would like to apply for the spay/neuter subsidy because it is actually a very hefty sum for me to spay/neuter all five of them, since I am only a student. They have already been dewormed, deflea-ed, and have completed all their vaccination and booster shots. They are also strictly indoor cats.
They were born on the 13th of March, so they are 4 months plus now.I have already brought them to the vet for a check-up to see if they are suitable for early spay/neuter, because one of my female kittens (Jelly) was already showing signs of heat. Jelly’s operation is scheduled on 8th August 2014, while the others can still wait.
Below are their photos:
Boo, female
Ozy, male
Tyger, female
Jelly, female
Thank you for your kind consideration, I will email the pre- and post-operation photos to you after Jelly has undergone the procedure.
Regards,
Yan Chee

Hi Dr Chan,
Jelly has already undergone her spay procedure last Thursday. The reason I waited for awhile before submitting this is because I wanted to make sure that her condition was stable, and would not require a second visit to the vet.I am happy to report that after few days of rest she is fine now, and is currently playing happily with her siblings.
Attached above are her pre- and post-op photos, and also a photo of her eating after the operation. Below is a short write-up about her:
Jelly is one of five kittens that were adopted by us when their mother disappeared one month after they were born. Jelly is short for Jellylorum, one of the names mentioned in Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats by T. S. Eliot. Our Jelly is a very curious cat that likes to explore and play. She is also a fast-learner, being the first to be litter-trained and to use the scratching post. She is also the first of her litter mates to be spayed as she was already displaying signs of being on heat even though she is only a little over four months.
I will be sending the form and original receipt to you today. Thank you so much for your help in lightening my burden. God bless your day ahead!
Regards,
Yan Chee
