Here's more on how to ward off unwanted animal visitors for those who find them a bother.

By the way, yes, this is AnimalCare (we encourage people to care for animals), but we fully accept that not every human will love animals or treat them compassionately, or be willing to accept them as they are.  We also fully acknowledge that some people try very hard, like the person who wrote a comment in Tangy's posting, asking for help as her neighbour's numerous cats keep coming into her garden and pee-ing and poo-ing everywhere.  The neighbour even left a dead cat in her garden.  We give her credit for not wanting to report because she knows the authorities will only capture and kill.

So, we are trying to source for ways to help her with her problem.

A friend sent me this link: http://www.yardguard.com/store/yardguard_dog_repellents.html

If you take a look, it claims to offer safe, organic and peaceful ways of warding off unwanted animal visitors and it says its methods and products will not harm the animals.

Do read and decide for yourselves if you agree.  If you don't agree, it's okay.

The only safe method I know that works (or sometimes, not) for cats is to use lemons and citrus scents.  But my cats aren't the least afraid of these scents, though.  They actually sniff at orange and mandarin peels and sleep right next to them!
