The New Paper online has featured a video showing a young man (in Ohio, the U.S.) kicking a cat, seemingly a deliberately executed and pre-meditated action to show his attempted abuse of the cat.
The man, who was wearing green trousers and a black t-shirt, then turns around and violently kicks the cat sitting on the pavement.
The hapless cat is then sent flying into the air. Thankfully, the cat got back on its feet and fled quickly from its aggressor.
It is not clear if the cat is hurt. Outraged Facebook users have demanded the men behind the video be prosecuted after it was shared by Yousign.org, an organisation which encourages people to sign online petitions. News station newsnet5 reported the video to police in Ohio who have confirmed they are looking into it. Captain Daniel Zampelli of Akron Police said, “We take animal cruelty cases like this very seriously. Our first steps are to ID the man, find out where he is at and confront him. From there we will work with the prosecutor’s office to figure out if charges should be filed.”

A video showing a young man kicking a cat has sparked outrage online. The act appeared to be pre-meditated as the camera-man told the abuser to “wait” as he gets his gear ready. The man, who was wearing green trousers and a black t-shirt, then turns around and violently kicks the cat sitting on the
