Dear Sirs,

I have wanted to congratulate the organisers, helpers and volunteers and officials of the recent SPCA run on 29.5.2011.

Although I had just returned from an overseas trip and was exhausted, I made it a point that I would run this race because I believe in the cause and because I had made many of my friends join the race as well (and it was to encourage each other that we would run and finish the race)!!

In particular I want to say kudos to the bicycling team who assisted in the road safety (with the traffic police). Their presence and constant patrolling made the runners feel safe and “contained” within a safe zone.

The event was warm and welcoming and nicely fitted into the youth park vicinity and the helpers and volunteers worked tirelessly from early morning onwards.

The prizes were interesting and encouraging and it was nice that many prizes were presented – to win a RM10.00 svenson’s voucher is a thrill!!

Finally I hope that the event raised awareness amongst the public on neutering their pets and being kind to their pets because that is all our pets really want and deserve!!
