These are SPCA Seberang Perai’s volunteers that are currently working hard helping to feed and clean the MPSP Dog Pound without fail, 7 days a week, rain or shine. Even if one could not make it on their duty day, we ensure that there is a backup for replacement. Bear in mind that SPCA Seberang Perai is under no obligation to carry these tasks but are doing it voluntarily for the sake of the animals. Not only did we fund for the daily food but had also forked out RM4000 to purchase the new kennels so that the dogs have more space to move around. The volunteers here feed, clean and even have to remove carcasses from the kennels,if any were found dead. The names listed here are our saviors, and deserve our highest level of respect and gratitude.

We always hope for more new faces to join us and had never shut anyone out from the Pound (as what we have been accused behind our back). We have no right to stop anyone. The door is always open, just a matter of whether one is sincere in offering help. We are not perfect, definitely, but we do our best, and we walk our talk, thanks to the genuine volunteers who stand by us all these while.

If you wish to join our Volunteer Team, drop us an email at spcaseberangperai@gmail.com. We want to hear from you!

SPCA Seberang Perai

The SPCA Seberang Perai is a society registered in September 2005. Our primary aim is to reduce the population of stray animals or possibly a zero stray population in a humane manner. With lesser strays or no strays at all, the loving value of animals will be greatly increased and you can be sure that humans will shower more love for their pets and be responsible pet owners. The problem should not only be shouldered by our Society as the public must also understand the urgent need to control the pet population and give their whole-hearted support to all our projects for the undertaking to be successful. Then we will achieve a clean and hygienic environment for the community. As a no killing organization, we are embarking on a two-prong approach towards the problem i.e public education and sterilization of the stray animals.
