Hi my name is SOPHIE LEK – PLEASE ADOPT ME!

Please email cristy@soidog.org for adoption enquiries.

I am a medium sized girl nearly 4 years old and I came to the Soi Dog Phuket shelter when I was only a 3month old pup with my mother.

We had been living in an area where we were not wanted, so people hit and kicked us to try and make us go away. This was very traumatic for both of us and it made me afraid of some people.

I can sometimes be a shy girl and take my time to trust people but I am very affectionate once I know you. I do get on well with other dogs though, as long as they are not too boisterous. I have really started to trust and gain confidence in people and I am slowly realizing that not all people want to hurt me.

If you have the time and patience for me I will be the best dog ever. I have seen three of my good friends get adopted in the last few months, but no one has chosen me yet.

I have lived most of my life at the shelter in Phuket and I think it is about time that I left.

Can you give me the forever home I deserve? I hear there are lots on nice people travelling to the US, UK and Europe who are offering to take me with them to keep the cost down for my new adopter. I just hope my dream comes true…..

Please adopt me.

Please email cristy@soidog.org for adoption enquiries.
