Here’s an interesting animal that stole the limelight while the Macaque Team was out taking photo identification of a Macaque troop!
The Greater Racket-tailed Drongos ; with a passing by Macaque in the background, are known as burung hamba kera which actually means slave bird of the macaque. It is very common to see Drongos following behind a troop of Macaques, picking on the insects as they moved through the forest canopy. They ?re conspicuous ?n the forest habitats often perching ?n the open ?nd attracting attention w?th ? wide range ?f loud calls th?t include perfect imitations ?f many ?ther birds!
Got interesting shots of Drongos ? Come share them with us here with your name, and where you took the photo! We’ll select a few and post them on our Instagram page, @eyesofacres, and credit you!
