ALL ALONE AND SICK ON THE STREET, BUT THERE WAS NOBODY WHO LOVED ME

I didnt understand what was happening to me but all my beautiful fur was starting to fall out. I had bald patches all over my body and I was itching and scratching constantly. My skin had become crusty and sore. I felt so sad and unwanted.

I am a girl of just 9 months of age and Ive grown up on the streets. Ive never had an owner to take care of me; I had to figure it all out for myself. My name is Makenzie.

I was picked up one day by a man called Khun Thep. He told me he was an Animal Rescue Officer with Soi Dog but I didnt know what that was. I was so scared. Thep took me first to a mobile clinic where I was examined by a lady called Dr. Su and then I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter.

Since being here, I am being looked after by Dr. Jennifer. I have something called demodectic mange, which they tell me is very common among street dogs in tropical climates. Dr. Jennifer is giving me medication to make me better and with every day that passes, I am becoming less scared.

I was helped by some special Soi Dog supporters. They send regular donations to rescue suffering dogs and cats that have nobody to care for them.

I dont want to think how things could have ended for me without these supporters. They are called the Emergency Response Team.

I know there are many other street animals that need help. Just like me, they have no owner; there is nobody to love them.

YOU can help them by joining the Emergency Response Team. YOU can put an end to their suffering today.

Please dont turn away from their situation; please just click on my photo to find out more.

Thank you.

By joining the Emergency Response Team, you are making sure that suffering street dogs and cats get the life-saving treatment they so urgently need.
