ABOUT THIS PHOTO: This photo was taken at the FRIEND animal shelter in Ukraine. Volunteers here have an indomitable spirit and are so thankful that there has been no shelling in their immediate vicinity. Soon we’ll be helping raise funds to get the Ukraine animal shelters through the approaching winter. We need to buy both food and fuel to be sure the animals are protected form being hungry and cold.
