Amy Tham also brought the Mama-Cat for a check-up today. This Mama-Cat had been treated for Faucitis on 20th June.

Here's Mama.
"Wow!! Massive improvement!"
We're really glad Mama-Cat's condition has improved so much. Our initial worry was that she could be FIV+ or suffering from leukemia, which would cause her not to heal well.
We still do not know if she could be FIV+ or have leukemia, but there is really no point in finding out at this point in time as she has recovered very well.
For everyone's information, periodontitis, gingivitis and faucitis are technical terms for different severity of gum diseases.
The vet says Mama-Cat may not heal completely from gum disease, but we'll cope as we go along. If she has trouble eating, it means the infection has come back, and she'll probably need the injections again.
The treatment on 29th June was just to administer injections into the infected parts. There were prescribed anti-inflammatory medication, but Amy could not complete the dosage. Looks like Mama did not need them, too!
As it stands now, Mama does not need any follow-up treatment.
