Meet Sharifah Ruqaiyah, Senior Field Biologist of the Terengganu Turtle and Painted Terrapins Conservation Project. Aside from patrolling and monitoring beaches, she carries out research activities such as satellite tracking of green turtles and hatchling dispersal pattern studies. She also rescues turtles that are accidentally caught, rehabilitating and nursing them back to health before releasing them into ocean.
