17 August 2014 is our flag day. As our team and volunteers join in the efforts to fund raise and bring animal cruelty and its many forms to an end, a team of ladies will be representing ACRES as they take part in the SHAPE RUN 2014 event – which will be taking place on the same day too!

This will be the very first time where ACRES will be represented by an all ladies team! Be inspired as one of the runner is a 52 years old mother on a mission to help the animals through the run! Show your support as these ladies not only run in celebration of woman empowerment but also to raise awareness on the plight of our native wildlife.

ACRES (Animal Concerns Research & Education Society) is a pioneering Singapore-based charity and Institution of Public Character, founded by Singaporeans in 2001 with the aim of promoting animal welfare.

ACRES has six focus areas: Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation, Wildlife Crime Investigation, Zoo Animal Welfare, Humane Education, Community Outreach and Promoting Cruelty-Free Living.
