Remark :
Council appreciate any constructive feedback from the public as it will help us to improve whatever system or weakness so as to serve the community better.
The comment is relevant and is taken into consideration whereby with effect from June 2011, the square type of dog tag licence had been replaced with a new design so as to overcome the durability problem.
As for your suggestion to use metal dog tag, the Council will look into the matter. Previously, the dog tag licence was made from metal but due to several complaints received stating that the metal tag some time caused injury to the dog, the Council redesign the tag using high density plastic tag as a safety precaution.
With the new design with effect from June 2011, Council will monitor fee dback so as to make any improvement if necessary.
